SMS Terms and Conditions

Effective October 5, 2026

These terms govern the "mvcprogrammer.com resume download alerts" text-message program operated by Neal Thomas, a sole proprietor software engineer in Holiday, Florida.

Program description

The program sends a short text message each time a visitor downloads the resume from mvcprogrammer.com. Messages are sent from a dedicated toll-free number and look like this:

mvcprogrammer.com: Resume downloaded Oct 5, 2:14 PM EDT · Chrome/Windows · ip 203.0.113.7 · via linkedin.com. Reply STOP to end.

Who receives messages

Alerts go only to Neal Thomas and to people he has personally added to the alert list, each of whom has given their own mobile number for this purpose. Website visitors are never texted, and the site never collects visitor phone numbers. Consent to receive alerts is not a condition of any purchase or service.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies with how often the resume is downloaded. At most one message is sent per visitor IP address every fifteen minutes. In practice this is a few messages per month.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Neal Thomas does not charge for the messages.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving alerts. You will receive one final confirmation message, and no further alerts will be sent to your number. You can also ask to be removed by emailing mvc.programmer@gmail.com.

Help

Reply HELP to any message for program information, or contact mvc.programmer@gmail.com or (727) 336-2222.

Carriers

Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most other US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Phone numbers and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See the privacy policy for how the site handles data.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the effective date above will change when they are.
